Meet Our Fishers Indiana Team
Dr. John Clauss
Currently operating a thriving practice in Fishers, Dr. John Clauss has been practicing dentistry in Indiana since 1993. He graduated from Purdue University in 1989 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. In 1993, Dr. Clauss received his dental degree from Indiana University, graduating in the top 20 percent of his class and was one of only a few dentists to open a brand new private practice upon graduation.
Dr. Clauss continues his studies through educational seminars and classes in order to stay current with the latest advances and evolutions in dentistry.
He feels that knowledge is a powerful tool and shares his learning with his patients at every opportunity. This educational approach allows patients to fully understand and participate in their dental care. Dr. Clauss also teaches dentistry as an adjunct professor at Ivy Tech College in the Dental Hygiene Department.
Dr. Clauss is a member of the prestigious American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
When he is not practicing dentistry and teaching, Dr. Clauss enjoys hockey, woodworking, traveling, and snow skiing. A proud father of three children – Steven, Marc, and Kaylee – Dr. Clauss stays busy going to sporting events and water skiing and boating at the lake.
Debbie – Business Coordinator & Dental Assistant
A graduate of Ivy Tech College and Ball State University attendee, Debbie has worked with Dr. Clauss since the start of Simply Dental. She loves her job helping people achieve quality dental care while improving their self-esteem. Says Debbie; “My work is very exciting as I enjoy helping patients. My job gives me the added bonus of building friendships with our patients, which is a rewarding and fulfilling opportunity. Being a part of the Simply Dental team is a great experience!”
Debbie has a daughter and a son. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, traveling, movie nights, biking, and reading. She also enjoys donating her time and talents to various charity organizations and is a member of the United Methodist Church.
Vanessa – Dental Hygienist
Vanessa, the newest dental hygienist to Simply Dental, obtained her Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene from Ivy Tech Community College. She also has an Associates of Arts in General Studies from Indiana University. She lives with her husband and two sons in southern Indiana. In Vanessa’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, jogging and scrapbooking.
